Hey, I'm Katy!
I’m a serial entrepreneur, creative strategist, and passionate advocate for female entrepreneurs. As the founder of Mosaic Makers Collective. I’ve built a thriving retail community that supports women artisans, and through Make [Her]Story, I’m dedicated to helping female founders grow and succeed.
I started my stationery brand, Fresh Out of Ink, in 2016, which became the launchpad for Mosaic in 2018. Since then, I’ve expanded my impact with She Makes a Podcast, MAKE: a planner for creatives, and my marketing agency, Block Star. I believe in collaboration over competition, in showing up authentically, and in building businesses that align with our values. With years of experience in retail, marketing, and small business strategy, I’m here to help other women do the same—because we rise higher when we rise together.

I’m a creative entrepreneur, community builder, and the owner of Kiiing & Co. Designs, where I bring bold artistry and meaningful storytelling to life. As the Program Manager at Make [Her]Story, I support and mentor women in business, helping them find their unique voice and build sustainable brands.
For me, creativity is more than just making—it’s about connection, representation, and using art as a force for change. Whether I’m designing vibrant, statement-making pieces for Kiiing & Co. or working with female founders through Make [Her]Story, my mission is the same: to empower, inspire, and create space for women to thrive.
