Your New Home Is Here — Everything You Need to Know About the Make [Her]Story Portal
You've been here for a while. You've shown up, you've cheered on other makers, you've shared your wins and your hard days in the Facebook group. And I want you to know — I see that. I see you.
Which is exactly why I've been working on something that I hope feels like a real home for this community. The Make [Her]Story portal has been completely rebuilt, and it was designed with one question in mind: What does a woman building a creative business actually need?
The answer, I've learned, is more than just inspiration. She needs tools. She needs a space to be known. She needs a path forward when she's not sure what the next step is.
So here's your personal tour of everything that's inside — and what I want you to do first.
Step One: Create Your Community Profile
This is where I want you to start.
When you log into the portal and set up your profile, you're doing something more meaningful than filling out a form. You're planting your flag. You're saying: I'm here. I'm building something. I belong in this room.
Your profile lets you share your name, your business, your website, your location, and a little about what you make and who you are. And then it shows up in our Member Directory — a living, growing map of the women in this community.
I want you to find your people in there. I want you to click through and discover a candlemaker in your city, a fiber artist who makes what you've been searching for, a photographer who finally gets the aesthetic you're going for. The directory exists because community isn't just a feeling — it's a list of real people you can actually connect with.

Step Two: Grab Your Free Downloads
You've been a free member of this community, and that means something. There are resources in the portal that were made for exactly where you are right now.
Inside the Resources section, you'll find free downloads including worksheets, guides, and tools I've created to help you with the real stuff — pricing your work, showing up on social media, working through the self-doubt that creeps in at 2am. These aren't fillers. They're the same frameworks I use with my coaching clients.
Go explore. Download what calls to you. And if something changes how you see your business — even a little — I'd love to hear about it in the community.
Step Three: Take a Look at VIP
I'll be honest with you: I built the VIP membership because I wanted to go deeper with the women who were ready for it.
The free community is real and valuable — and it will always be here. But VIP is where we do the deeper work. It's where you get monthly exclusive content, long-form guides, challenges designed to move your business forward, and a space to be in community with women who are all in.
This month's VIP content is already live. And if you've been curious about whether it's the right next step for you, the best thing I can tell you is: go look. Read what's in there. See if it speaks to where you're trying to go.

Step Four: Explore Coaching
If you've been feeling like you need more than content — if you're at a place in your business where you need someone to actually look at what you're building and help you figure out the next move — coaching might be what you're looking for.
I work with a small number of makers one-on-one, and I take it seriously. We don't just talk strategy. We talk about the fear underneath the strategy, the story you're telling yourself about what's possible, and the specific, practical steps that will move you forward.
If you're curious, there's a coaching intake form inside the portal. Fill it out and tell me where you are. No pressure, no pitch — just a conversation starter.

You Belong Here
I built this portal because I believe that every maker deserves a real home — a place where her story is supported, her work is celebrated, and she never has to figure it out alone.
You've already shown up. Now let's make sure you have everything you need.
Come on in. We've been waiting for you.
With love, Katy
P.S. If you run into anything that feels confusing or broken while you're exploring the portal, please tell me. This is a living thing and I want it to work beautifully for you. Drop a note in the Facebook group or reply to any email from me — I read every one.
